How to become a Distributor – FAQs
How much does it cost?
Koala don’t sell distributorships. We offer three year renewable contracts to people who we consider will be suitable to the role. The only set up costs are, a bookkeeping package (MYOB or Quick books), a trolley, some shelving and public liability insurance. This will total approximately $1800.
Do I need an ABN?
YES. Koala has a business to business relationship with its distributors. To become a distributor you must be a proprietary limited company, partnership or family trust.
Will I have to start from scratch?
Most unlikely, Koala has distributors in most major centres and in almost every instance you will be taking over an existing territory with extensive sales history and customer details.
Do I have to find new business?
